1) Cost-savings

More shareholders and stakeholders now read annual reports on smartphones or computers, and most listed companies send physical copies only on request. As a result, smaller listed companies tend to print fewer number of annual reports.

But printing in small numbers costs more per copy and is still subject to a minimum order (e.g. 30 copies at $600). A larger order lowers the per-copy cost, but total printing costs can be 2–3 times higher.

At Aventus, printing and binding a 150-page annual report costs $15–$17 per copy. For 20 copies, the total cost is $340. Fewer copies cost less.
2) Eco-friendly

Companies that print more copies (to meet printers’ minimum order size for lower per-copy cost) often end up with many undistributed ones—a poor use of paper. With low or no minimum order* at Aventus, clients can print only the quantities they need—perhaps enough for contingencies, but nothing excessive. This reduces wastage of paper and related resources—something we see as a form of corporate social responsibility on our part.

Note*: While we generally do not impose a minimum quantity for annual report printing, we appreciate clients' efforts to consolidate/ estimate the quantity required well so that print runs are minimised and efficient.
3) Efficient

Companies that print annual reports in-house using their copiers incur printing and material costs. In addition, in-house personnel need to spend the limited office hours on preparing the physical copies—time that could otherwise be better used.

To bring more convenience, we also mail printed annual reports to shareholders who requested for them. We use SingPost's prepaid-label tracked mail so that our clients have a record of the mailing status.
4) Aesthetically pleasing

Printing works by Aventus is in no way less presentable. Coloured pages are printed in colour (unless otherwise instructed). Metal wire ring binding, paired with binding covers, gives the bound pages an aesthetically pleasing finish. For a more superior feel, annual reports can be printed on 80 gsm papers at a small incremental cost.
